Summit Produce at Kirkwood Farmers Market
Missouri’s ever changing seasons make Summit Produce a fun place to shop.
The spring season is all about flowers and produce. We bring in a giant selection of beautiful plants. Our produce is a refreshing change from the winter selections at the grocery store.
In the summer, we shift into the local produce season. The fresh from the farm produce starts rolling in and doesn’t stop until well into the fall season.
Speaking of fall, this is our first huge transformation of the season. We are allowed extra space during this time and we use it. We also extend our evening hours and stay open until 8:00 pm every night. We do continue with a full line of fresh fruits and vegetables.
As the weather cools down, we begin preparations for the Christmas market. Again, a major transformation takes place. The heated Gingerbread Shoppe gets built, and goods start to flow in. By the Friday after Thanksgiving the market will be bursting at the seams with Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands. And again the evening hours are extended. Open every day until 9:00 pm.
