6. Family Networking Events

Family Networking Events bring families, caregivers, professionals, and community resources together to build relationships, share knowledge, and navigate the journey together.

Families often have some of the best knowledge, experiences, and resources to share with one another. Our Family Networking events create a welcoming space for those conversations and connections to happen.

These gatherings bring families, caregivers, professionals, and community organizations together around topics that matter—from navigating services and planning for the future to discovering programs, resources, and opportunities.

Some evenings feature speakers or community experts, while others provide more informal opportunities to meet, ask questions, exchange experiences, and build relationships with people navigating similar journeys.

Schedule & Experience

Stronger Together events are held periodically throughout the year, typically as evening gatherings at the Waigand Wheels Hub in Kirkwood.

Each event focuses on a topic or resource relevant to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, with time intentionally built in for conversation and networking. Guest speakers, topics, and event details vary throughout the year and are announced in advance.
