Our partnership with Eckert’s Farm enables our Wagoneers to deliver fresh, sustainably farmed produce and homemade items directly to families, fostering health, sustainability, and community connection through each delivery.
Through our collaboration with Eckert’s Farm, Wagoneers connect directly with the heart of local agriculture. They don’t just deliver food—they actively shop, select, and prepare produce and local goods from Eckert’s, giving them firsthand experience with sustainable farming and food handling.
This unique role allows Wagoneers to learn about sustainable agriculture, seasonal food cycles, and product selection while practicing practical skills like organization, responsibility, and accuracy. Once the orders are ready, Wagoneers package and deliver them to customers through the Community Cart and other outreach programs.
For Wagoneers, this partnership provides a sense of connection to the land, pride in supporting a historic farm, and confidence from mastering real workplace responsibilities. For the community, it delivers fresh, sustainably grown produce along with the joy of connecting with Wagoneers, who serve as ambassadors of inclusion and local pride.
